Beach Binoculars 8x10 Print by Jessicalynneart's Shop

A whimsical summer image captured at Old Orchard Beach in Maine. This 8x10 print comes unmatted and unframed. It is signed and dated on the back and will not have a watermark logo on the print that you receive. My shop All You Need is Pug is known for selling accessories and artwork that involves dogs, especially pugs. I am a college student who decided to sell her artwork to make money for college, but ended up becoming so wrapped up in animals that had to put their well-beings before my college tuition fund needs. I donate at least $1 from every item sold to The Pug Rescue of New England or the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. The pug rescue helped me adopt my pug, James Dean, who inspired my artwork and made me see that my calling is to help other animals like him who need homes by donating money to rescues.

Sunken Treasure Dive Chain Necklace by Purpleandlime's Shop

Who doesn't dream of finding sunken treasure? A plastic toy treasure chest and a green and yellow scuba diver hang from long gold-look aluminum chain. The plastic toys are connected with green anodized aluminum and gold-plated jump rings. Gold-plated clasp closure hooks onto a green anodized jump ring. The plastic figures have the description of the toy engraved on them but this writing is very small and not very visible. The treasure chest is heavier than the diver so it sits at the bottom of the necklace.
5% of the sale price of each animal piece goes to Fundacion Mona, a chimp rescue center in Girona, Spain. http://www.mona-uk.org/

Mermaiden 9x12 Original Oil Painting by Throughtheforest's Shop

This lovely mermaiden lives in the sea and plays by the sea! This listing is for my original oil painting titled, "Mermaiden". The piece is painted on a 9x12 inch staple-free stretched canvas. I've painted the sides of the canvas, so there is no need to frame, it is ready to hang!
100% of the sale of this painting ($20) will be donated to EFA's charity-of-the-month, the Tranquility Trail Animal Sanctuary! I love to support animal charities and am excited to donate the sale of this painting to this month's charity. I have been an animal welfare supporter for many years and have been bringing stray animals home since I was a child. I currently have two dogs and five cats, most of them are rescues. One of my most exciting volunteer positions was helping save the Gulf Breeze Wayside cats three years ago. There was a colony of nearly 50 feral cats who lived at the Wayside Park in Gulf Breeze, Florida. The city council made the decision to remove all the cats to clean up the park. All of the cats were scheduled to be picked up, taken to the pound and destroyed when a group of concerned citizens got together and over three months were able to capture, vet-check, vaccinate and spay/neuter all of the cats and find them homes. Every single one of the cats was rescued and adopted out! My contribution to this effort was setting up, maintaining and donating the cost of the wayside cats website that helped all of the cats find homes. This was the most rewarding and meaningful volunteer effort I have ever been a part of!

Knit Catnip Mouse in Soft Shades of Blue by Vivalechat's Shop

Knit catnip mouse in soft blue ocean shades. This mouse is knit from acrylic yarn in stripes of soft shades of blue--it reminds me of a watercolor painting! Very sturdy design with tight-knit gauge to prevent the catnip from spilling out. This mouse will last for a very long time! Each mouse is approximately 3.5-4.5 inches long not including tail. I fill with only catnip (no cotton filler or other sort of stuffing) and use Cosmic Catnip (a brand of super-potent catnip available at lots of pet stores).
I donate a third of what I earn on Etsy to imom.org, an organization that fundraises to help individual families receive the vet treatment for their companion animals that they cannot afford on their own.

I Loved a Narwhal by Scarlettbfox's Shop

The narwhal is my favorite sea creature because it is so surreal and dreamlike. How can such a magical looking animal truly exist? I wanted to pay tribute to this beautiful animal with a cheerful, pretty painting. I try to respect and help animals in all that I do. I am a donor to HSUS, the CSRA Humane Society, and Vegan Outreach. In addition to being an active member (and eater) in my local Vegetarian club, I am also a founding member of our brand new, proactive animal rights force in Augusta, GA, called SAVE. I am new to EFA, but I am already in love and look forward to helping the team!

Heart Strings - Urban Sea Glass Pendant by Lolalynn's Shop

This pale green heart shaped pendant is made from "Urban Sea Glass". The term was coined by a New York Times Blog reporter when he talked about finding sea glass on the shores of New York City's East River. I had been making jewelry from glass I had picked up from the river and when he googled "East River Sea Glass" he found me. He interviewed me for his article and I got a nice mention in his blog: http://cityroom.blogs.nytimes.com/2008/11/17/making-jewelry-from-east-river-glass/ Sea glass gathered from the East River is not as smooth and as rounded as glass found in other locations. Unlike other beaches where sand is constantly fine tuning the glass, the East River is lined with mostly pebbles and large rocks. A lot of what I pick up I recycle but I do manage to glean some pieces that make beautiful pieces like "Heart Strings." 50% of the purchase price of the items from my shop are donated to EFA's charity of the month.

Wine bags by Barkingdogblanket's Shop

This wine bag is made from reclaimed fabric. It features surf boards/palm trees shot on a surface, it sort of reminds me of the colors of the sea.
I donate 5 - 10% of my shop and retail sales to a variety of rescue organizations. I also walk and clean kennels at our local hawaiian humane society and Oahu spca. aloha and thank you !

Nautical Star Compass Pendant and Necklace by Theclaypony's Shop

One of the most important things to take with you when you go sailing is a compass. I made this nautical pendant out of polymer clay, and painted it maroon with black filigree. In the center of the pendant is a print of my digital drawing of a Nautical Star Compass, which is sealed inside the pendant with a clear resin half sphere that looks like a bubble. The picture in the center magnifies when you tilt it and look at it from different angles. The pendant is 1 1/2" in diameter, and hangs on a 19" dark brown braided cord, which has a lobster clasp closure. 20% of the sale of this necklace will be donated to the Etsy For Animals (EFA) Charity of the Month.

I am increasing donations for June to 10% of cards and 20% of prints, mirrors & jewelry to help BEBHS rebuild.

Beach Bag Wet'n'Dry in blue with sailing boats by Lifecovers' Shop

It's a large beach bag (measures approximately 19" x 17" x 4") which has been cleverly divided - one side for dry clothes and the other for wet. It easily accommodates two beach towels and so much more.
I have a long association with cats. I undertook voluntary work when I lived in San Francisco with the SFSPCA and my job title was 'Cat Socialiser and Adoption Counsellor' - I always thought that was too funny! I had one little rescue of my own but since returning to Scotland have adopted two ginger kitties from a wonderful cat shelter nearby that gets no funding other than what they raise themselves. For this reason, I'm working on making a quilt so they can hold a raffle and hopefully raise lots of money. However, one of my handmade quilts takes about a year to make so I hope they can wait.

Notecards Beach Huts Collage by artchicnj's Shop

These notecards were printed from a larger collage made by me. Beach Huts can be found in many places around the country. They are used to store seasonal beach items. Some are even big enough to rent out like a small hotel room... This collage was done using a reference photo. I used to work in Petsmart and every weekend a local group called "SAVE" would bring cats and dogs to the store and hopefully adopt them out. I always gave them a donation of food or cash for the furries. I also try to give to my local shelter when I can.

Waterdogs Card Set of Three by Thebluewindmill's Shop

"Waterdogs" A dachshund, a yellow labrador, a golden retriever, a crossbreed, and a Jack Russel terrier go on a voyage. The picture was printed on matte paper with vibrant Vivera inks then mounted on Ivory folded archival cards, acid and lignin free, which measure 4" X 5.5". The set includes 3 cards and 3 envelopes. Cards are blank inside so that a personal message may be added.
This month I am hopefully donating to Guardian Angel's for Soldier's Pet. I've also recently been taking care of a sweet stray cat at the nearby park. (I named him Charlie Chaplin.) I think someone had just dumped him a few weeks ago because he's been declawed and he's in really good shape. Unfortunately, I couldn't take him right now but someone finally adopted him.

Bigfin Reef Squid Print by Lkjohnston's Shop

Bigfin Reef Squid (Sepioteuthis Lessoniana) is a beautiful translucent creature that lives in the reefs of Hawaii, Japan, Indonesia and the Red Sea. I've been enamored of cephalopods since an encounter with an octopus while scuba diving. For more information on these fascinating creatures I recommend http://www.thecephalopodpage.org/
My most recent charity donation was to Bat Conservation International, to help them with their work trying to save bats from white nose fungus, and promote bat awareness and conservation. I am also a supporter of Best Friends and Jane Goodall Institute.

Paddling greyhound screenprinted organic cotton tote bag by Thedoghouse's Shop

My rescue greyhound Max loves to paddle, especially in the SEA - sometimes he even goes in for a proper swim, but mostly he just likes a wee paddle, then enjoys running up & down the beach afterwards to dry himself off!
My designs are inspired by greyhound rescue & are screenprinted by hand onto ethically sourced clothing, homeware & accessories by me in my home in Scotland. I donate a portion of my profits to my local greyhound rehoming charity, Gracehounds, http://www.gracehounds.plus.com, with whom I am a volunteer dog walker & fosterer.

Chrysacolla with Carnelian Ocean Waves and the Night Sky Semiprecious Necklace by Diggerbren's Shop

Ocean waves and the night sky....The colors of the amazonite and the aqua in the chrysacolla are very 'beachy'. This bright necklace is about 19 1/2 inches long including the gold plated lobster claw clasp. I hand formed the jumprings from leftover bits of wire.
I donate monthly to Alley Cat Allies, Defenders of Wildlife, and Humane Society of the United States. I also donate to Best Friends Animal Society periodically. Our two newest dogs were adopted from the Arizona Animal Welfare League, one of our cats is from the Arizona Humane Society and I found the other abandoned at my old apartment complex. I also promote Alley Cat Allies and Arizona Animal Welfare League on my bloghttp://diggerbren.blogspot.com/
