I had so much fun making this I hope to make many more. The theme this month is Peace to all Animals. I made my collage tree with many different dog faces and at the very top is the angel resting on a gift box.
The frame measures 15½" X 12½". The backing is made of Red Glitter Felt. I hand braided gold textured rick rack to make the basic form of the tree. The tree is embellished with Bottle Caps of Dog faces, holiday stars, a few Dog buttons and a couple pieces of Vintage Jewelry. As the tree topper I found a old ornament with this hound dog on the present sleeping and I just gave him wings and attached to the topper. http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=17209541
