Run With The Big Dogs Bandana and Collar Set by AstridNicoleEtcetera

The item is a sampling of our collars and bandanas that are made by AstridNicoleEtcetera for dogs, fitting the 'anything goes' theme for August.

Having a desire to give back to the shelter that took such good care of our dog Astrid while she was a guest of theirs, every item we create benefits them.

Dogs In Planes Blue Bandana by AstridNicoleEtcetera

With dogs flying planes everywhere, the bandana ‘Dogs In Planes’ by AstridNicoleEtcetera fits the theme of July, beautiful sky.

We continue to support the Santa Cruz Humane Society, a euthanasia free animal shelter in Nogales AZ. Our dog Astrid was a guest of theirs at one time. Our desire is that our donations to this shelter will help the dogs live a more dignified life while awaiting loving forever home.

Wipe Your Paws Cloth Set by AstridNicoleEtcetera

This set of 3 cloths by AstridNicoleEtcetera celebrates the 'Green Earth' theme because each cloth is green in color and green in the sense that it reduces waste by being reusable.

We donate the net amount of everything we sell to Astrid's former shelter...Santa Cruz Humane Society in Nogales, AZ. We have no idea how long Astrid was a guest of the shelter, coming to live with us in her forever home in 2004 at about the age of two. Since, she has earned an AKC Canine Good Citizen certificate and also is a registered therapy dog. We visit three different living centers and Alzheimer's centers each month.

Reversible Valentine Dog Bandana by AstridNicoleEtcetera

My own sweetheart, Astrid, is shown modeling the Valentine Bandana from AstridNicoleEtcetera which is covered with hearts...on both sides!

We adopted Astrid in December of 2006. We wanted to give back to the shelter that took such good care of her. Our sales at her namesake Etsy shop enables us to help make the lives of the dogs left behind hopefully a little more comfortable.

Blue Snowflake Dog Collar by AstridNicoleEtcetera

With it's blue background and snowflakes, this collar by AstridNicoleEtcetera is surely 'icy blue'.

Ever since adopting Astrid in 2006, I've wanted to give back to the shelter. In 2008, I started our AstridNicoleEtcetera shop and have donated the net proceeds ever since.

Love My Dogs Full Apron by AstridNicoleEtcetera

Aprons, being worn by the homemakers in our family, go back as far as I can remember. They remind me of the cozy, sheltered feeling I always had living at home as a child. I send a wish that every child and pet experience those same feelings, which is why I made this apron by AstridNicoleEtcetera.

Astrid, our dog and Etsy shop namesake, came to live with us in December, 2006 at the age of two. Our goal is to help the homeless pets she had to leave behind live a dignified, comfortable life while they wait for their own forever homes. We hope our donations of money and items for the animals and staff help to achieve these goals for the Santa Cruz Humane Society in Nogales, AZ.

Haute Dog Reversible Bandanna by AstridNicoleEtcetera

This bandanna by AstridNicoleEtcetera is a great accessory for dogs that celebrates the monthly challenge as it reminds us that our canine companions come in all shapes and sizes.

Shortly after adopting Astrid in 2006 from the Santa Cruz Humane Society in Nogales, AZ, we realized that we wanted to 'give back' to the shelter for the joy that Astrid brought into our lives. Since April of 2008, we have been crafting bandannas and collars for dogs and donating the net profits to the shelter that gave Astrid a home while she waited for her forever home with us.

Dias de los Meurtos Tote Bag by Astridnicoleetcetera

This is covered with skulls, making it very qualified for being scary! Tradition is rich in Mexico as they celebrate life while honoring their ancestors during the celebration Dias de los Meurtos. We celebrate, too, and offer this rich traditional folklorica print in a roomy and sturdy tote bag. Measuring 18" wide and 14" high, there is a handy exterior pocket. For almost three years now, we have had a shop on Etsy. We donate 100% of the net profit to my dog's shelter, the Santa Cruz Humane Society in Nogales, AZ. Mostly, we sell dogs bandanas and are just beginning with pretty collars and other items.
