The collar is made a a durable safety buckle which is designed to breakaway if your cat becomes tangled or caught during its wanderings either through the house or outside in the neighborhood. As such it should not be used with a leash.

The National Mill Dog Rescue (NMDR) makes it a priority to save puppy mill survivors, the parents of those adorable pet store puppies, from a life of neglect and abuse. They then provide ALL necessary medical and dental treatments, and then foster the dogs until they can find their forever home.
I support NMDR because of these good works by donations from my etsy store and by personally helping to spread awareness about the cruelty of puppy mills.

Graf's Bottling works was located in Iowa City, Iowa from approximately 1850 to 1950 and bottled several types of sodas. This crate features their signature logo. Time has helped create a wonderful rustic vintage feel with the original wording slightly faded and the wood metal accents wonderfully aged.

A great gift for a native or transplanted Iowa resident or anyone who loves to collect vintage soda items!

Based in Colorado Springs, Colorado NMDR travels all over the US, to rescue mill dogs, rehabilitate them including major medical care, and find them forever homes where they can learn to be dogs and live happy healthy lives.

Ready for spring! It is made with cotton fabric lined with heavy duty, but light weight interfacing which makes the collar sturdy yet flexible providing a comfortable fit.

Since my house can't possibly hold any more rescues (we have two corgis and two long hair calicos), and I just have to help stray and abandoned animals, I donate all profits from the sale pet merchandise from my etsy store. So far my donations have got to support my local animal center via the Friends of the Animal Center organization in Iowa City. Additionally, I plan to start supporting the National Mill Dog Rescue organization with my next donation.
