Determination Watercolour Reproduction by thoseparisoldays

For all the trouble they give us, it's impossible to stay mad at someone who, just by doing so, makes you laugh! This watercolour reproduction by thoseparisoldays shows that you've got to have a bit of determination in you or you'll get nowhere!

I, along with a group of ladies (and a couple of gentlemen!) feed, play with, pay visits to the vet and, once in a while, manage to place one of the too many kittens here on the Spanish Mediterranean coast!

Shady Beach Cards by thoseparasoldays

Made especially for this challenge, these sweet cards by thoseparisoldays couldn't be more cool, featuring a cat in fun sunglasses beneath a beach umbrella.

50% of profit goes to animal welfare - split evenly between EFA's charity of the month and local charities in Costa Blanca, Spain.

I try to take care of the cats around my neighborhood on the southeast coast of Spain. Last week I teamed up with a German organization (Los Duendes) to sterilize cats and dogs in the area. We didn't get as many as we'd have liked to, due to many of them still feeding their kittens, but we managed a few and every little helps, right? :)

Raining Cats and Dogs Print by thoseparasoldays

This beautiful print was made especially for this challenge by thoseparasoldays! It features rain, umbrellas, a cat, and a dog. The dog is my neighbor's dog, who was recently hit by a car, but got away with only one claw missing!

I take care of the street-cats in Costa Blanca, Spain.

Who's The Boss Print by thoseparasoldays

This drawing by thoseparasoldays was made specifically for Etsy For Animals's Monthly Challenge. The challenge for March is "Sweet Shelter & Cozy Comforts"; a stool may not seem very comfortable but often it seems as though what a cat looks for, more often than not, is some elevation - even a little helps!

I take care of the cat colonies around Costa Blanca, Spain.

Schizo - brooch figures by Thoseparasoldays' Shop

These three baby-*like* figures are to be used as brooches, either seperately or huddled up together, keeping each other amused! Alright, so these babies wear lipstick and mascara but at least they're hairless! ;) The fabric is a cotton blend and their heads are stuffed with cotton balls; they measure 2,5 cm (1"), with a 1,5 cm (0.6")pinback. Wear a smile on your lapel, crowd your bag or make a nest for them in your hair!
50% goes to animal welfare - split evenly between EFA's charity of the month and PAWS animal rescue in La Marina, Spain. The artist work is mainly with the feral cat colonies.

Sunny Skies Ahead - fabric cuff by Thoseparasoldays' Shop

This embroidered bracelet was made especially for Etsy For Animals' April challenge "Buds and Blossoms". The cuff is hand sewn almost all the way through and made from little scraps of cotton, cotton blends and synthetic fabrics. A light, sunny shade was chosen for the base and then apliqued beautiful bright blues for the wings of the birds! The colourful inspiration this time came from the hanging gardens of Babylon; a sense of magic and spring romance under the desert sky... The artist works with the feral cat colonies on the Spanish Mediterranean coast, helping out where she can.

Adrift - Fairytale Print by ThoseParasolDays' Shop

This was originally made for Illustration Friday's prompt "Adrift" and the inspiration for it was Jon Blund(Swedish), or The Sandman as he's known to the English-speaking world; the story goes that he carries two umbrellas - an ordinary "empty" one for the naughty children and one for the good ones that's filled with wondrous images on the inside. He induces sleep by dripping warm milk into their eyes. I work with the feral colonies in La Mata, Spain, entered the recent To Happy Vegans Tombola and hope to participate in upcoming Vegan Craftsamples!

Come Fly with Me - glass pendant by Thoseparasoldays' Shop

"Breathe, breathe in the air
Don't be afarid to care
Leave but don't leave me"
Pink Floyd
The pendant has a picture of a bird soaring in the sky on one side, and the words "Come fly with me" on the other - the artist thought was that you should keep your memories close to your heart but not let them be a chain around your neck. ThoseParasolDays works with the feral colonies in and around La Mata, Costa Blanca, Spain.

A Little Bit of My Love to You - fingerless gloves by ThoseParasolDays' Shop

Soft and stretchy, these knitted midnight blue hand-warmers will keep you warm while crafting! They are of course made from animal friendly acrylic yarn. Fingerless gloves, and as it is part of EFA's December challenge "Cold hands (paws & noses); Warm Hearts", they come with a hot pink crocheted ribbon and a sweet little heart - to give away, perhaps?" Nancy works with the abundant colonies of feral cats in her area. Earlier this summer she had a cat spayed with the help of PAWS Animal Rescue in La Marina (Spain), and another one two days ago. All her items give 10% to EFA and 10% to PAWS.
