Treasuries are a wonderful way to promote beautiful art created by others. What can be more fun than putting together a collection of creations by your favorite sellers or even a bunch of beautiful stuff by people you don't even know? Spontaneous or planned out, treasuries are a treat to the eyes!
We won't spend time explaining what treasuries are and how to go about obtaining them because that work has already been done by sweetestpea in How-to Make a Treasury: the Nuts and Bolts. We can't possible provide any more information than what's already there in that fantastic piece! We are extremely grateful that it exists :)
However, we are are going to tell you how you could get YOUR treasury featured in this EFA blog.
First of all, one doesn't have to be a member of EFA to get featured. The main thing REQUIRED for a treasury to be featured in here is that you feature at least one listing from the EFA Team Store in your treasury. Priority will be given to those treasuries which also feature EFA Members' items.
We can't promise that all treasuries will get posted on the blog but we'll try our best not to miss out on any treasuries. Treasury hunting and posting is something that's done as and when time is available to work on this project so please don't take it personally if your treasury didn't get featured in here.
Currently Susmitha of artbysusmitha is the official "EFA Treasury Hunter and Poster". She finds the treasuries by logging into the EFA Store account on etsy and goes through the treasury lists looking for the gold star next to the title. The she captures the page, crops it using her photo editor and then posts the treasury on the blog.
If you'd like to increase the chances of your treasury getting featured on the blog by making her work easier for her, please CONVO Susmitha at her etsy store Art by Susmitha with ALL of the below:
1. Title of your treasury
2. Link to your treasury
3. Link to your store
4. Screen Shot of the treasury*
Please Note: Either send ALL the above information or don't send a CONVO at all.
* If you do not know how to take a Screen Shot here is a helpful site with instructions on how to do so on Windows as well as Macs: How to Take a Screenshot
If you have any other questions regarding treasuries, feel free to CONVO artbysusmitha and she'll be very happy to help.
