When I think of summer, I think of going to a lake, and watching the water birds, such as this gorgeous swan depicted in an original painting by BirdsinHand.

My volunteer work is focused around birds - I am working with experienced rehabbers and getting a permit to help rehabilitate wild birds in my area.
